Dan Oved founded the Blue Prairie Dogs band with the aim of reflecting the culture and land of the Southwest in an entertaining and family friendly way. They’ve been a mainstay in the Tucson area for the last 25 years.
They play Western and Country Rock music and tip their hat to all the varied cultures that have enriched the Southwest along the way. You’ll hear Dan’s unique, original songs about people, relationships, and love of nature. You’ll also hear some of Pete Fine’s rollicking instrumentals. Additionally, the Blue Prairie Dogs play refreshing covers of your favorite Western and Country Rock tunes. All their music is joyful, danceable, heartfelt and expertly performed!
